Like a lot of working moms during the pandemic, I went from working full-time in a professional office setting to working remotely while also not having childcare to eventually leaving the workforce to be a stay-at-home mom. My wardrobe of mostly dresses, pencil skirts, dress pants, and blouses was not ideal for my situation once I was out of the office environment. I am trying to transition my closet to meet my current needs, and my main goal is to have a simple wardrobe that allows me to feel confident when I leave the house while still being comfortable enough to chase two toddlers. I’ve put together four budget-friendly outfit ideas that have inspired some of my shopping for the Fall.
YA Book Review: I Kissed Shara Wheeler
Angsty and entertaining, I KISSED SHARA WHEELER is a wild coming-of-age ride! Casey McQuiston is phenomenal at telling stories of self discovery. Combine that with their ability to captivate through their writing…I’m a fan!

According to a report by the Adoption and Foster Care Analysis and Reporting System (AFCARS), there were more than 407,000 children in foster care in September 2020 [“This report reflects all AFCARS data received as of October 4, 2021 related to AFCARS reporting periods through September 30, 2020.”]. That is a staggering, heartbreaking statistic.

Picture Book Review: Reach For The Stars
Reach For The Stars is such a sweet story and was an absolute joy for me to experience with my children! I love the tenderness each precious moment of the story offers from the view of the caregiver.
