All I Want for Christmas Book Tag

With 6 days till Christmas, I’m feeling festive and thought I’d do a fun book tag!  I went with the All I Want for Christmas book tag which was originally created by A Thousand Lives of Daisy.

Here we go!

1) What fictional character do you want Santa to leave under your Christmas tree?

Obviously, I want Santa to leave my fave book boyfriend under the tree — Elias Veturius from An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir!

2) What character do you want to kiss under the mistletoe?

Please see above.

3) You write your Christmas list for Santa; what are the top 5 books on it?

I’ve got major grabby hands for quite a few 2019 releases, but here are five that I am dying for:

  • Rage by Cora Carmack
  • 99 Percent Mine by Sally Thorne
  • The Bride Test by Helen Hoang
  • Serious Moonlight by Jenn Bennett
  • Wayward Son by Rainbow Rowell

4) It’s secret Santa at Hogwarts; what do you most want to receive?

A Time Turner!  Adulting would be so much easier with the help of magic and time travel!

5) You get to spend the day with the characters and movie adaptation actors from one fandom; what do you pick?

Even though it hasn’t been adapted to film yet, Throne of Glass is my favorite series largely because I adore the entire cast of characters.  So, I’m going with that!

6) What fictional animal would you like to replace Rudolph and be able to meet on your roof?

Abraxos, the Wyvern from Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas.  He is just so sweet!

7) You invite 10 fictional characters to your New Year’s Eve party; who do you pick?

You’re killing me, Smalls!  HOW am I supposed to narrow down my party guest list to just 10 characters!?!

If I’m stuck choosing only ten, right now I’d go with the following:

  • Celaena Sardothian from Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas
  • Jesper Fahey from Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
  • Ariel Waters from Kiss the Girl by Tara Sivec
  • Joshua Templeman from The Hating Game by Sally Thorne
  • Blue Sargent from The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater
  • Baz Grimm-Pitch from Carry On by Rainbow Rowell
  • Louisa Clark from Me Before You by JoJo Moyes
  • Levi Stewart from Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
  • Hazel Bradford from Josh & Hazel’s Guide to Not Dating by Christina Lauren
  • Aedion Ashryver from Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas

I kind of feel like this would be a fun bunch!

8) What character would make a good Santa? (Doesn’t have to be appearance; personality counts too)

This is probably an obvious choice, but based on his looks, heart & magical abilities, I believe Dumbledore would be a great Santa!

And there it is, folks!  Now it’s YOUR turn!  If you feel like jumping in on this, then TAG, you’re it!
