This week, I happen to have a bookstagram challenge prompt for #waitingonwednesday so I thought I’d do a correlating blog post! It’s also perfect timing because the author of the book I photographed announced a giveaway this week! Good timing, right!?!
It probably isn’t a huge surprise that I am anticipating the release of Dreamer, book 2 in the Traveler series by L.E. DeLano. Traveler has a 4-star rating by me on Goodreads, and I did a cover reveal for Dreamer here on the blog.
Traveler was selected as a Book of the Month by my online book club when it released. It was a quick, easy, fun book, and I have been recommending it ever since to YA Fantasy lovers who enjoy light reads. I even jumped at the chance to purchase a candle themed to one of my favorite whimsical elements of the book — GLITTER MOUSSE!
Of course, Traveler left me hanging, so I am beyond excited for Dreamer, which is slated to release April 10, 2018 from Swoon Reads.
This thrilling sequel to Traveler doles out adventure and heartbreak in equal measure as it takes readers through a kaleidoscope of intricately crafted worlds of wonder, discovery, and danger.
You’re still you no matter where you go.
Jessa has learned the hard way that traveling to alternate dimensions isn’t all delicious, glittering desserts and fancy parties: it also means accidentally running into people she thought she’d never see again. Still mourning a devastating loss, Jessa isn’t really prepared for the arrival of a reckless version of someone she once loved who is now bent on revenge. Add an increasingly complicated relationship with her best friend Ben, the reappearance of an old enemy, and the threat of the multiverse collapsing, and Jessa’s got a lot on her plate. She may be destined to help save an infinite multitude of worlds… but in the end, all Jessa really wants to do is save her friends.
In Dreamer, the young adult fantasy follow up to Traveler, author L. E. DeLano delivers a gripping, emotional story that will leave readers on the edge of their seat.
I loved the characters, especially Pirate Finn, and the various worlds into which they could dream themselves. I also absolutely adored the premise. I am looking forward to seeing where DeLano takes the story in Dreamer.
One last order of business…
DeLano has a giveaway currently taking place with an awesome pack of BOTH books, a custom candle from Nox to Lumos Candle Co., and some other swag. All you have to do is share her post about the giveaway on your social media. Full details can be found here. Go check it out!
If you all catch up in time for Dreamer‘s April release, I’d love to buddy/group read this book.
Until next time…xo
